TK Can Now Participate in Open Enrollment!

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) can now participate in Open Enrollment! In the past, families who were interested in Transitional Kindergarten did not participate in the Open Enrollment school choice process.

However, for the 2022-23 school year, TK families may submit an application to attend a TK program or to enroll in the New Spanish or Mandarin TK program. Spanish will be held at Jefferson, and Mandarin at Field. Other TK programs will be at Longfellow, Jackson, WESM, Madison, McKinley, Norma Coombs, Webster, and Willard.

To be eligible for TK during the 2022–23 school year, a child must have their 5th birthday between September 2 and February 2. Open Enrollment applications may be submitted from Monday, January 10 to February 28, 2022.
