Two Eighth Graders from the Gooden School Participates in Fall Festival of the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California Competition

The Gooden School congratulates its two eighth-graders who competed (and placed) at the Fall Festival of the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California (DTASC) on November 2. The festival, held at Royal Oaks Middle School, included over 500 students from dozens of middle and high schools. Categories ranged from monologues to musical excerpts, to group comedies, technical theatre, and more. The students competed in the monologue category, each performing both a classical piece as well as a contemporary piece. The Gooden School is very proud of its students and their honorable mention and a fourth-place finish in a very large and competitive category.
