Valentine Elementary School PTA Presents Reflections 2021 Themed “I Will Change the World”

Does your student enjoy art? If so, encourage them to participate in PTA’s National Art Competition – Reflections.

Participation is easy! Students use their skills to create a dance, film production, piece of literature, music composition, photograph or a piece of visual art (painting/drawing) which represents this year’s theme of “I Will Change the World.”

Students are judged based on artistic skill, presentation, and representation of the theme.

The deadline for submissions will be the end of October. Check back next week for more info! Until then Valentine’s Elementary School encourage you to explore the theme with students so they can start planning their project.

Start by downloading the exploration sheet.

FAQ: Does my student need to be a great artist to enter? Absolutely not! Students are encouraged to explore the theme and have fun creating! We encourage all students excited about creating to enter.

PTA Reflections is a national arts achievement program for students K-12. Support your child’s creativity and encourage him/her to enter! Just remember, parental encouragement is strongly appreciated, but the rules require that the works of art be the student’s own original work.
