Voices from Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Leaders: A Pasadena Community Forum

In collaboration with leaders from the City of Pasadena and the Lucille & Edward Roybal Foundation, PUSD co-hosted a socially-distanced dialogue with students recently to hear their voices about the local history, present challenges, and Pasadena’s collective future.

“One of the roles of education is to foster civic engagement,” said Superintendent Brian McDonald. “I’m so glad that students are here so that we can listen to what they have to say. We’re sending students a message that this is a community of conscience that values student input, that values student ideas, that values the important roles that students have, and that recognizes they are indeed our future.”
