Vroman’s and the Pasadena Education Foundation Join Forces to Bring Books to Families in Transition

Vroman’s Bookstore is teaming up with the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) to raise $4000 to bring books to 400 kids of all ages, who are part of the Families in Transition program.

Books are important tools at all stages in life and are needed especially during times like these. They educate, comfort, inspire, and provide fun escapes.

Vroman’s is proud to be working with the Pasadena Education Foundation on such an important mission. Contributing to this effort not only puts books in the hands of kids who so need them but also helps support Vroman’s Bookstore keep operations going during the ongoing pandemic.

About Vroman’s Bookstore

Vroman’s Bookstore was founded in 1894 by Adam Clark Vroman, who was photographer and loved giving books and other things to his community. “We are located in Pasadena, California, and through the years, we continued to be an independently owned family business, now consisting of two Vroman’s locations, two Vroman’s boutiques located at LAX airport, and an ecommerce site. Vroman’s is a Pasadena institution, a literary landmark, a community center, and a wonderful tradition. We have been a one stop shop for the Pasadena community for 125 years and just celebrated our anniversary last November.
