Walden School: Celebrating the Class of 2021

Last week’s graduation was a beautiful day celebrating the Class of 2021 Sonoran Bumblebees that brought record temperatures, rain, thunder, happy tears, and big smiles to the South yard! As Ella said in her speech – like actual bumblebees, this class, individually and collectively, defied the gravity of this year.

In the face of disconnection, you connected. You stayed curious about the world and unleashed your creativity and senses of humor, spreading joy to those around you. You remained optimistic, patient, forgiving, and flexible. You defied gravity through radical love for each other, for your community, and for your world. Like actual bumblebees, you are multidimensional, reflective experts at pivoting. Walden School wish you the very best for the next chapters in your lives and can’t wait to see how your stories unfold!
