Waldorf 5th Graders’ Three-day Camping Trip to Point Mugu State Park in Pictures

Waldorf 5th Graders went on a three-day camping trip to Point Mugu State Park last week. Nestled in a hillside with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the students enjoyed listening to the sounds of crashing waves and the local wildlife. They hiked on lush trails with scenic ocean vistas, swam in the ocean at Sycamore Cove Beach, and explored the tide pools and sea caves at Leo Carrillo State Beach. The food was excellent, and students enjoyed nightly s’mores and games of Free the Family and Sardines. They look forward to going to Sequoia National Park in the fall!
