Walls, Words, and Wonders: Flintridge Prep Students Illuminate L.A. History at LA Museum of Geography

What an incredible evening at the Los Angeles Museum of Geography! Flintridge Prep 7th graders brought to life “The Great Wall of Los Angeles,” showcasing the rich history behind this iconic mural created by artist Judy Baca in the 1970s with teenagers from diverse neighborhoods. Alongside it, the “City of Gold” exhibit took visitors on a culinary journey through LA’s global cuisines, honoring the legacy of food writer Jonathan Gold. The museum was buzzing with activity as visitors explored the thoughtful installations, store, LAMoG Cafe, escape room, and Kids Club. So proud of how each young curator discovered their unique voice while collaborating to share these important LA stories with our community! When we create space for authentic exploration, every student shines.
