Washington Elementary Mathletes Shine at 2026 Math Field Day

Washington Elementary STEM Magnet School proudly celebrates its dedicated Mathletes for their outstanding effort and preparation leading up to the district’s 2026 Math Field Day held on Saturday, March 28. Through weeks of hard work, collaboration, and perseverance, these students demonstrated both academic excellence and strong teamwork in a competitive and inspiring environment.

A total of four teams represented the school, with two teams competing in fourth grade and two in fifth grade. Their achievements reflect not only their mathematical skills but also their commitment to learning and growth. Both fourth grade teams earned Bronze medals in Conceptual Understanding, with one team also receiving Bronze in Problem Solving. Among the fifth grade competitors, one team secured Bronze medals in Conceptual Understanding, further highlighting the strength of Washington Elementary’s math program.

The school community commends all participating students for representing Washington Elementary with pride and excellence. Special appreciation is extended to their coach, Ms. Roper, and parent volunteer, Ms. Shima, whose guidance and support played a vital role in the teams’ success.
