Washington STEM Magnet’s Sustainable Marketplace

Washington Elementary STEM Magnet’s second-grade students brought sustainability to life with their capstone project – a dynamic pop-up marketplace featuring eco-friendly products from various regions of California. This hands-on event was the culmination of weeks of research, collaboration, and creativity, allowing students to apply their knowledge of sustainability, conservation, and renewable energy in a real-world setting. Families, teachers, and community members gathered to explore the marketplace, where students enthusiastically shared their discoveries and insights. The project not only showcased their hard work but also fostered a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility and innovative problem-solving.
