Waverly High School Students Explore Climate History at The Huntington Library

High school students from The Waverly School, embarked on an enriching educational outing to The Huntington Library just before the holiday break. Their visit centered around the thought-provoking exhibit titled “Storm Cloud: Picturing the Origins of Our Climate Crisis.” This captivating display offered a deep dive into the historical roots of environmental awareness, tracing its emergence in the 19th century. The trip provided students with a unique opportunity to connect their studies to real-world contexts, fostering a greater understanding of the historical and artistic narratives that have shaped our contemporary discussions about climate change. #ExperientialEducation
