Waverly School Farm Open House Showcases Learning Through Nature

At Waverly, the Farm is more than an outdoor classroom – it’s a place where students learn by doing.

From preschoolers exploring nature through their senses to older students investigating soil, solving problems, practicing stewardship, and exploring sustainability, the Farm grows with the students. Each visit builds curiosity, connection, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their relationship with the natural world.

The Waverly School will host its Farm Open House on October 3 from 10 a.m. to noon, offering families an opportunity to see the Farm in action and discover how learning comes to life through hands-on experiences.
