Waverly School Launches 2026-27 Theme: ‘Learning Begins With Belonging’

The Waverly School in Pasadena gathered Friday for its first all-school assembly of the year and announced its 2026–27 theme: “Learning begins with Belonging.” All-school assemblies give Waverly students an opportunity to connect across divisions and grades, helping build the relationships and sense of community that are an important part of the school.

A special moment came when kindergarten students – the Class of 2039 – presented a gift to the Class of 2027 as the seniors begin their final year at Waverly. From kindergarten through senior year, the assembly highlighted that every student is part of the same Waverly community.
