Westridge Speech and Debate Team Starts the Season on a High Note
Speech and debate season is off and running and Westridge Middle and Upper School students made a strong showing at two top competitions in recent weeks—the Yale Tournament, one of the biggest and most competitive national tournaments of the year, with 279 schools and 1831 individual competitors from 33 states and countries, and the Jack Howe Tournament, one of the biggest and most competitive tournaments in California, with 168 schools and 1214 individual competitors from 26 states and countries. Westridge students earned a combined 18 awards at the competitions.
