Year-end Closing and Deadlines at SMUSD

Summer is an especially busy time at San Marino Unified School District (SMUSD)’s Accounting Department when year-end closing and deadlines all converge. SMUSD’s meticulous and diligent staff in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Finance prepare and reconcile program and account fund balances to ensure that all entries are accurately posted to the financial system, spreadsheets, and software applications.

Amid the many project deadlines (t.ly/c9Kl), SMUSD has successfully migrated over to County’s BEST System this past year while also transitioning to the State’s new SACS System in May!
