Your Journey Begins Here: Southwestern Academy Opens Its Doors for Fall Open House Events

San Marino’s own Southwestern Academy is inviting families and prospective students to discover what makes this historic independent school a standout choice. With a tradition of academic excellence and a focus on nurturing the whole student, Southwestern is opening its campus for two special Open House events this fall.

On Wednesday, October 11 and Wednesday, November 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to experience Southwestern Academy’s warm and welcoming community firsthand. Visitors can tour the beautiful campus, meet dedicated faculty members, speak with current students, and learn more about the school’s innovative programs that prepare young people for success in college and beyond.

“Southwestern Academy has always been about more than academics,” says the school’s leadership. “It’s about creating an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.”

The Open House events provide the perfect chance to see this philosophy in action. Whether you’re a local family looking for a college-prep day school or considering a boarding school experience, Southwestern Academy’s diverse and inclusive environment offers something unique for each student.

Families interested in attending are encouraged to register today to secure their spot at one of the upcoming events.

Founded in 1924, Southwestern Academy is a private, college-preparatory day and boarding school serving grades 6–12. With small class sizes, individualized attention, and a global community of learners, the school offers a rigorous academic program combined with a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Located at 2800 Monterey Road in San Marino, California, the Academy can be reached at (626) 799-5010, and more information is available at www.southwesternacademy.edu.
