A juried collection of more than 200 independent artisans, designers, and tradespeople fills Hall B of the Pasadena Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday for the spring edition of Artazan, a contemporary handcraft market that draws design-conscious shoppers from across Southern California for two days of buying directly from the makers.

Established by artisans inspired by the late-19th-century Arts & Crafts Movement, Artazan stages a deliberate alternative to mass-produced retail. Vendors are selected by invitation and juried application, with the show emphasizing handcraft made with meticulous detail, natural materials, and brilliant colors. The Saturday-Sunday lineup spans artisan jewelry, hand-thrown ceramics, textiles, fine art, clothing, home décor, and specialty foods — alongside chocolates, wines, and other artisan beverages.

Beyond shopping, the weekend includes live music throughout both days, hands-on workshops, and tastings, according to Discover Los Angeles. Visitors can explore each booth, watch makers demonstrate techniques, and ask questions about process — what one organizer described as “an invitation to slow down, discover, and connect.”

The Pasadena Convention Center is centrally located on East Green Street, with self-parking on-site for $15. Street parking and nearby lots are also available, with some starting at $2.

Artazan Handcraft Market will run on Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Pasadena Convention Center, Hall B, 300 E. Green Street, Pasadena.
