Redesigned for 2019, the 2021 Lexus ES 350 F Sport receives minimal changes: some revisions to standard and optional features and a new Black Line Special Edition is added. My review model F Sport included the Black Line Special Edition with special black-out exterior trim and wheels, black rear spoiler and two custom pieces of Zero Halliburton luggage.
Powered by a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine, the ES 350 F Sport delivers 302 horses. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic trany. The car also has select drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport for greater driving pleasure. Expect to get 22/city, 31/highway and 25/combined mpg.
Available in four trims: base, Luxury, F Sport, and Ultra Luxury. The F Sport is also available with a Black Line Special Edition. The review will focus on the F Sport with the Black Line Special Edition.
Special equipment on the F Sport included: sport-tuned suspension, blind-spot monitoring, 19-inch wheels, pedestrian detection, automatic wipers, heated and ventilated front seats, drive-seat memory settings and power tilt-telescoping steering wheel.

On the inside the Lexus ES350 is plush and lush. I found the seats to be plush yet supportive and I had plenty of room to stretch my legs when I engaged the adaptive cruise control, which I have to add was one of my favorite things about the ES350. I find holding a speed and distance to be quite stress-inducing. It was wonderful to leave all that to the car.
Backseat passengers are not overlooked in the ES350, there’s plenty of room for two adults to sit comfortably. Cargo space is good too with 16.7 cubic feet of space. The backseats do not fold down, however, so longer items could be a problem.
Acceleration from a stop is great, making hopping onto the freeway easy (except if there is traffic) and the car kicks into cruising speed smoothly and crisply. The ES350 corners great and has a tight turn radius. It’s a smooth driving car with a quiet cabin and nice sound system.
