5th Annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities Spring Caravan Fair Comes to PCC on Wednesday

Published on Mar 1, 2022

The fifth annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Spring Caravan is coming to Pasadena City College on Wednesday, March 2, to offer opportunities and information that could help students and community youth decide on the next phase of their education.

In this On The Yard event, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., representatives from these HBCUs will be at the PCC Quad to tell you about the admission process, scholarship opportunities, student life, athletics, and everything else you need to know about college. Some of the schools will be offering on-the-spot admissions, with waived application fees, while others may extend scholarship offers if they think you’re deserving.

Limited capacity workshops are also available in order to guide and support students transferring to an HBCU.

Organizers will have free food, music and entertainment for you, plus free t-shirts and a swag bag.

It is recommended that students bring multiple copies of their unofficial transcripts.
