Kate Stayman-London’s new novel goes on sale September 8. The next night she is at Vroman’s Bookstore, 695 E. Colorado Blvd., in conversation with Maurene Goo, at 7 p.m.
See You Next Tuesday follows Anya Katz and Gabe Hunt through a decade of campaigns, from all-night phone banks to celebrity fundraisers and presidential debates. The two work on Democratic campaigns and agree on their politics. Everything else is contested.
Stayman-London is a novelist, screenwriter and political strategist, and she has written the novels One to Watch and Fang Fiction. Kirkus gave the new book a starred review.
Goo is the author of One & Only, a Read with Jenna pick.
The bookstore lists the evening as an adult event and a book signing. Vroman’s asks that attendees buy the book from the store, which it says makes events like this possible.
Vroman’s is open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Come early if the plan is to browse first.
