The SG Artists Guild is hosting a hybrid arts workshop this Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at All Saints Church in Pasadena. “Open to anyone who loves the arts, loves to share, and loves to learn,” the Guild welcomes participants to explore artistic expression through activities such as sharing stories, teaching crafts, and field trips to explore outside artistry.
Facilitators Stuart Rosen (Chair) and Jenn McGaw (Co-facilitator) will lead the event, which blends in-person studio sessions with online gatherings via Zoom. The accessible format ensures both local artists and remote participants can join the creative community.
As part of All Saints Church’s small-groups ministry, the Artists Guild meets every second Saturday to support creative growth and build community engagement among artists in Pasadena. The monthly gatherings foster an inclusive environment where experienced artists mentor newcomers while everyone shares techniques, inspiration, and collaborative opportunities.
The workshop format encourages hands-on participation, whether attendees want to demonstrate their own artistic skills, learn new techniques from fellow creators, or simply connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for the arts. The Guild’s emphasis on field trips also extends learning beyond the church walls, exploring galleries, studios, and other artistic venues throughout the region.
This welcoming approach reflects All Saints Church’s broader commitment to community engagement through creative expression, making art accessible to anyone regardless of experience level or artistic medium.
The SG Artists Guild will run on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All Saints Church, 132 N. Euclid Ave., in Pasadena. For more call (626) 583-2732 or visit https://allsaints-pas.org/calendarevent/artists-guild-3/. Tickets: Free.
