Altadena Music Theatre Plays “Little Shop of Horrors” Thursday as the Run Heads to a Sunday Close

Published on Sep 9, 2026

Altadena Music Theatre plays “Little Shop of Horrors” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, on the temporary outdoor stage the company built at Mountain View Mausoleum, 2300 N. Marengo Ave. in Altadena.

Four performances remain on the schedule, including Thursday’s. The run continues Friday and Saturday and closes Sunday, Sept. 13, with an 8 p.m. curtain each evening.

The production is the second and final show of the company’s 2026 season, its first since the Eaton Fire displaced it from the Charles Farnsworth Amphitheater. The company says board members, performers, designers, technicians, volunteers and supporters built the stage and seating at Mountain View. Producing artistic director Sarah Azcarate founded the nonprofit in 2020.

Single tickets start at $40 and are sold through OvationTix, linked from the company’s website at https://www.altadenamusictheatre.com. The show runs outdoors, and the company posts any delay or cancellation on its social media accounts and at the theater gates.
