The Altadena Library District presents its first Poets Laureate program of the season on Wednesday, Aug. 24, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Main Library.
This will include readings by the 2022-2024 Co-Laureates Peter J. Harris, Poet Laureate Editor-in-Chief, and Carla R. Sameth, Poet Laureate for Community Events.
There will also be readings by former Altadena Poets Laureate and founder of the Poets Laureate program, the announcement of the Poets Laureate programming season schedule, and a first call for Altadena Poetry Review submissions.
The event is in person and is free to attend.
