“An Evening at the Huntington” Spring Gala Will Hear From Kai Ryssdal, and the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus

Los Angeles Children’s Chorus (LACC) presents the “2022 Spring Gala: An Evening at the Huntington” on Thursday, April 14, at the outdoor Rose Hills Foundation Garden Court of The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino.

The special evening event celebrates LACC’s work to inspire and change lives through music, honors Dr. Ying-Ying Goh, Director of Pasadena’s Department of Public Health, and raises vital support for LACC’s music education programs and need-based scholarship fund.

“An Evening at the Huntington” will be emceed by Kai Ryssdal, host of public radio’s award-winning “Marketplace,” and will feature performances by Grammy-nominated LACC Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz and LACC choristers.

Featured speakers include U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo.

Only 160 seats, or 20 tables, are available for purchase due to limited venue capacity. Proof of full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, including booster shots for age-eligible attendees, will be required.
