The Pasadena Humane Society brings back in-person golf through its 22nd Annual Doglegs, Birdies and Eagles Golf Tournament “Fore” the Animals, taking place on Monday, April 12, at the Annandale Golf Club.
This annual event is just one of the many ways that Pasadena Humane raises funds for supporting its programs, such as maintaining the animal shelter at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena, animal control and owner assistance programs, pet training, health and wellness, and licensing, training and education programs.
Tee-off is 7 a.m. at the Annandale Golf Club, 1 N. San Rafael Ave. This will be followed by a virtual celebration dinner and live auction.
An opportunity drawing that’s part of the event gives people a chance to win a portion of the pot along with $250 worth of instant win scratch-off lottery tickets. If your ticket is picked, you could win thousands of dollars on top of your share of 10% of ticket sales. The winner will be announced during the virtual celebration dinner on April 12.
Tickets for the opportunity drawing are $10 each, six for $50, and 12 tickets for $100.
