The market, held on the first Sunday of every month except January, has become one of the San Gabriel Valley’s signature secondhand destinations. Vendors will fill Parking Lots 1 and 3 along with Parking Structure 4 on the west side of campus. A dedicated record swap occupying the fourth floor of the Bonnie Avenue structure features more than 50 vendors selling vinyl, CDs, DVDs and music memorabilia spanning big band recordings through current releases — a collection the college describes as one of the largest record marketplaces in Southern California.
Admission is free, with customer parking available in Lot 5 off Bonnie Avenue for $2 per vehicle. Parking in surrounding residential neighborhoods is not permitted. The flea market raises money for the PCC Foundation, which supports student scholarships and college programs.
The market’s roots stretch back to 1979, when Lee Selinski and his brother organized the first event in a PCC parking lot, recruiting vendors from other regional swap meets. The market now draws shoppers and dealers from across Los Angeles County and beyond on its monthly Sunday run.
Pets on leashes are welcome, and food vendors operate throughout the grounds. Shoppers are advised to arrive early — some of the most sought-after antiques disappear within the first hour, and the morning shade is gone by midday.
