The Arroyo Chop House in Pasadena is welcoming customers to dine Al Fresco Thursday evening as it reopens following the latest countywide indoor dining ban implemented last week.
The steakhouse at 536 South Arroyo Parkway planned to fire up the grills at 5 p.m., co-owner Greg Smith said.
“We have outside al fresco dining in our parking lot. It’s very beautiful. We have lights in our trees. We have chandeliers, umbrellas,” he said. “it’s very, very nice.”
The restaurant planned to serve up its regular menu.
Despite the setback of the recent surge in novel coronavirus cases, and the accompanying restrictions placed on restaurants, Smith said the restaurant had no plans of slowing down.
“This looks like it’s going to be a long haul, and we’re ready for it, and we are prepared,” he said. “And we’re giving guests a very beautiful environment to enjoy and to have dinner al fresco.”
Smith added that the restaurant was following health guidelines “to a T.”
“So we are making our environment extremely safe for our staff and for our guests,” he said.
