The ArtCenter College of Design is set to host its highly anticipated 2026 Gala on Saturday, April 18, a significant event poised to honor the institution’s rich legacy while propelling its mission forward. More than just an evening of inspiration, the gala serves as a crucial platform for impact, commemorating several pivotal milestones that underscore ArtCenter’s enduring influence on the creative world. The event will unfold at the iconic Hillside Campus, a beacon of design education for half a century, located at 1700 Lida St, Pasadena, CA.
This year’s gala is particularly special as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Hillside Campus, a landmark that has provided five decades of world-class art and design education to generations of creative leaders. “This year, we commemorate the 50th anniversary of our iconic Hillside Campus, celebrating five decades of world-class art and design education that have prepared generations of creative leaders,” states the official event page. The celebration also highlights the 40th anniversary of ArtCenter100, featuring a special tribute to its esteemed founder and ArtCenter Trustee Emeritus, the late Alyce de Roulet Williamson, who is also the Presenting Sponsor of the gala. Additionally, the event recognizes the 25th anniversary of Designmatters, further solidifying ArtCenter’s commitment to socially responsible design.
