A dozen Asian American and Pacific Islander vendors will gather today at One Colorado in Old Pasadena for a Heritage Month celebration featuring beauty products, fashion goods, accessories, art, plants and sweet treats.

The AAPI Market with PlayLab Beauty + Friends runs from noon to 5 p.m. at 12 Douglas Alley, with free admission.

Organizers describe the event as a “fun AAPI Market filled with beauty products and friends” and “a chance to connect, celebrate heritage, and experience roots.”

PlayLab Beauty, located at 25 N Fair Oaks Avenue in One Colorado, anchors the vendor lineup. The store specializes in Korean and Japanese skincare and makeup, positioning itself as a “beauty discovery destination” offering “the latest and hardest-to-find Asian beauty products that truly work.” The wheelchair-accessible shop features personalized recommendations from industry veterans and operates with hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Additional vendors include Regina Yazdi, JYulsbyYu, Yalgae, The Pawstry, Self Contrast, Ha.routine USA, The Kandy Pop, Kahee’s Plants, Jelly Pop Shoes, and The Boco Co.

The market celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by bringing together vendors representing diverse AAPI-owned businesses. PlayLab Beauty can be reached at 626-203-6026 or www.playlabbeauty.com.
