Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson to Speak in Pasadena on Nov. 16. [Distinguished Speakers]

World-renowned astrophysicist and leading commentator on developments in space, Neil deGrasse Tyson, is coming to Pasadena as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series.  He is appearing live at the Ambassador Auditorium on Wednesday, November 16 at 8:00 p.m.  Series tickets can be purchased at www.speakersla.com.

Through a powerful narrative that is sure to inspire, wonder and awe, the famed astrophysicist will bring a cosmic perspective to life on Earth and explore the many intersections between space, science, culture, and life itself. In an illustrated and timely talk, he will explain the most recent developments at NASA, the US Space Force, Space Tourism, and the surprising effects physics have on everyday events.

“With the constant developments from the Webb telescope and space exploration, we couldn’t be more excited for Neil deGrasse Tyson to take our stages and translate what it all means! Not just scientifically, but also its impact on our political, cultural and economic future” says Kathy Winterhalder, Distinguished Speaker Series Co-Founder.

The accomplished science popularizer and translator will bring his thought-provoking presentation to five different stages in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The astrophysicist has achieved science-superstar status through his ever-expanding body of work in television, podcasting, journalism, social media, and books and as director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
