Award-Winning Animated Shorts to Screen at ArtCenter College of Design

A curated selection of nine acclaimed animated shorts from the Ottawa International Animation Festival will be showcased at a public screening on Friday, Oct. 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Ahmanson Auditorium, ArtCenter College of Design’s Hillside Campus, 1700 Lida Street.

The event, titled “Best of Ottawa International Animation Festival Screening,” is free and open to the public with no RSVP required. Seating is first-come, first-served, according to the ArtCenter College of Design’s official event listing.

The program features nine short films from the festival’s 2024 competition, including award winners and audience favorites, chosen to highlight the diversity of styles, techniques and perspectives that define contemporary animation.

“Each title represents the myriad of styles, techniques, and perspectives that animation is uniquely capable of realizing,” ArtCenter said.
