Babies and toddlers will take over Crowell Public Library on Saturday, February 14, for a free Baby Sensory Gym that blends movement, play and early learning into a morning of hands-on fun.

The in-person program invites families with children from 4 months to 2 years old to explore activities designed to support healthy development while they meet other local parents and caregivers.

The library promotes Baby Sensory Gym as a chance for the youngest children to “move, play, and socialize to grow their minds and bodies!”

Sensory play, the organizers note, “allows children to connect ideas with concrete experiences, stimulating the brain, and developing fine and gross motor skills.”

The program is part of Crowell Public Library’s youth offerings and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The February 14 event is structured as two back-to-back morning sessions tailored to age.

The 10 a.m. session is for ages 4 to 18 months, while the 11 a.m. session is for 19-month-old to 2-year-old children.

Registration is not required, but space is limited, so families are encouraged to arrive early.

Baby Sensory Gym (Ages 4 to 18 months) will run on Friday, February 13, at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Crowell Public Library, 1890 Huntington Drive, San Marino. For more information, call (626) 300-0777 or visit https://sanmarinoca.gov/calendar.php?view=day&month=02&day=13&year=2026
