Pasadena Water and Power water customers have an opportunity to learn about retrofitting their home irrigation systems from spray nozzles to drip, during a virtual workshop planned for Saturday, May 30, 9 to 10:15 a.m.
PWP is now offering free Spray-to-Drip Residential Retrofit Kits to single-family residential customers, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Valued at approximately $288, each kit provides enough supplies to retrofit a 250- to 400-square-foot landscape.
To receive the kit, customers are required to attend the PWP virtual workshop or any similar workshop that PWP will recognize.
During the workshop, you can bring a filled Spray-to-Drip Retrofit application form which can be downloaded from the PWP webpage. You will receive a voucher for the free kit at the end of the workshop, and you can just bring the voucher to a local irrigation supplier to pick up your kit.
Retrofit kits will be limited to two per household, PWP said. The kits must be installed within 120 days from pick-up, or you could be charged the full retail price on your next water bill.
