CannMed 2022, a three-day event that includes a full-day medical practicum workshop on treating patients with cannabinoid therapeutics and two days of a full cannabis science conference, will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center Tuesday through Thursday, May 3 to 5.
Since 2016, CannMed has showcased the leading minds in cannabis science, medicine, cultivation, and safety. The organizers, Medicinal Genomics, said CannMed was born to promote understanding of cannabis’s complex science and its medical benefits for patients in need.
Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and other cannabis industry leaders have chosen CannMed to announce their latest findings and breakthrough technologies to the world. With the cannabis industry anticipated to exceed $500 billion by 2028, CannMed is the one cannabis science conference you cannot afford to miss.
On Tuesday, the full-day medical practicum workshop, approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, will feature a panel of doctors sharing their collective clinical experience, discussing the latest cannabis research, and reviewing cannabis product types, extraction types, and dosing.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Bonni Goldstein, the Practicum’s originator and owner and medical director of Canna-Centers Wellness and Education; Dr. Dustin Sulak, an osteopathic general practitioner; Dr. Kevin Spelman, a researcher, clinician, educator and industry consultant that has advised the White House and the Department of Defense on natural products for regulatory guidelines; and Eloise Theisen, a board-certified Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in cannabis therapy. They are all on CannMed’s Advisory Board.
The workshop and the full conference begin at 8:30 a.m. on those three days.
As an added feature, a CannMed Coffee Talk Lounge will be located directly opposite the doors of the Main Room at CannMed 2022, featuring live interviews starting on Tuesday with some of the CannMed speakers, sponsors, and Medicinal Genomics supporters.
