A new exhibition at Kidspace Children’s Museum is transforming how young visitors understand their own brains, inviting them to “be scientist and subject, examining how your brain interprets and integrates sensory input with emotion and memory.”

“Wired for Wonder,” opening Sunday, August 24, challenges conventional science education by creating an all-ages maze where children “wander the all ages maze to discover that perception is more than what your nose, eyes, ears, or hands detect.”

The exhibition, presented in collaboration with Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide, runs Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum in Pasadena.

The innovative installation addresses contemporary questions about human perception and consciousness through hands-on exploration.

Rather than simply observing exhibits, visitors become active participants in neuroscience research.

The multisensory format demonstrates how complex scientific concepts can be made accessible through experiential learning, blending science, emotion, and interactive discovery.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd., in Pasadena.
