That battle cry from organizers signals the triumphant return of Southern California’s most anticipated chocolate event. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic protocols, the Los Angeles Chocolate Salon & Festival returns Sunday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“Great news, after a two-year hiatus, the 16th Annual Los Angeles Chocolate Salon returns on October 5!” announced organizers in August, marking the comeback of an event that launched in October 2007.
All chocolate tastings, demonstrations, chef talks and ongoing interviews by TasteTV’s Chocolate Television program are included with entry. Adult tickets cost $22.50 in advance or $25 at the door.
This year’s lineup features master chocolatiers including Amano Artisan Chocolate, Mignon Chocolate, Truffles N Toffee and Letterpress Chocolate. Several 2024 award winners return, including gold winner aL Chocolat Boutique and silver medalist Albert’s Petite Sweets.
Art Pollard of Amano explains his philosophy: “Located high in Utah’s Wasatch Mountain range in the heart of the Rockies, Amano is dedicated to creating some of the world’s most exquisite chocolate through traditional techniques.”
The International Chocolate Salon was founded in 2007 by TasteTV.
