Join family, friends and neighbors for the grand reopening of La Pintoresca Park and the 26th annual Family Fun Day Saturday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at La Pintoresca Park, 45 E. Washington Blvd.
Excitement begins with the La Pintoresca Park ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Attendees will have the opportunity enjoy the park’s new splash pad, skate park, basketball court, and restrooms.
Following the ribbon cutting, the fun will continue at the City’s 26th annual Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy family-friendly activities, including a tiny tot area provided by Pasadena Public Health Department; arts and crafts with Armory Center for the Arts; life-sized games provided by Simply Divas & Dames; gift baskets provided by La Pintoresca Branch Library; a skateboard expo; bike repair workshop; laser tag; video game bus; basketball tournament; bingo for older adults; live entertainment by Monday Night Live Band; and much more!
Pasadena Police and Fire Departments will be on the grill cooking up free hamburgers and hot dogs. And Vons Pharmacy will be on site providing Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines (and boosters) to everyone ages 5 and up.
