Alternative Lifestyle Comedy has announced a free standup comedy show for Wednesday night at The Mixx, 443 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena, with Miranda Perry as host.
The Mixx is advertising a different bill for the same night: its standing weekly free comedy night, hosted by Paddy plus weekly guest comedians, from 8 to 10 p.m. Both accounts give the same room, the same date, the same 8 p.m. start and the same price.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8, inside a 7:30-to-9 p.m. window, Alternative Lifestyle Comedy said. The producer is billing the night as “Perry & Pals: A Free Standup Comedy Show.”
The announced lineup is Mike Lane, Danny Niquette, Susan Ware, Hannah Renee, Jason Kaye, Jonathon Hollis and Elyza Halpern, with the possibility of surprise guests. Lineups are subject to change, the producer said.
Alternative Lifestyle Comedy presented free LGBTQ standup shows at The Mixx in October 2025 and March 2026. The Wednesday comedy night is a weekly fixture at the venue, which also programs karaoke, salsa nights and tribute acts, and is scheduled again Sept. 9.
“We decided not to compete with the rest of Colorado Blvd,” head of talent Ané Uno told Los Angeles magazine in September 2024, describing how The Mixx books its nights.
