Dine Out at Sorriso Restaurant, Benefit Pasadena Senior Center

Anyone who dines at Sorriso Ristorante and Bar in Pasadena on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., will have an opportunity to help support the Pasadena Senior Center.

Sorriso, which features a tapas menu as well as entree salads and main courses, will donate 20 percent of Tuesday’s profits to Pasadena Senior Center on behalf of everyone who prints out a flyer from the PSC website and brings it to the server at the restaurant.

Proceeds will benefit programs, activities and services of the Pasadena Senior Center.

Anyone who cannot dine at Sorriso Ristorante and Bar on Jan. 18 but would like to support the center can do so by visiting www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org and clicking on Donation and Membership.

Pasadena Senior Center, at 85 E. Holly St., is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that has served older adults for more than 60 years.

During the pandemic, doors are open Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for social services and other critical services for older adults in need as well as limited occupancy for the library, fitness center, computer lab and certain.

In accordance with county public health guidelines, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for everyone who uses the fitness center or attends onsite activities indoors. Masks and social distancing are required, and rooms are sanitized after each use.

In addition to online classes, onsite events and other activities, members and non-members of the Pasadena Senior Center are encouraged to visit the PSC website regularly for a monthly magazine, COVID updates specifically for older adults, and more.
