Today at 8:00 a.m., the Pasadena City College Flea Market is opening its doors to shoppers who are looking for one-of-a-kind finds and deals. With over 400 vendors selling from high-end antiques to rummage sale-type items, the market is a must-visit spot for collectors and bargain hunters alike.
The show goes until 3:00 p.m.
Vendors set up in the PCC parking lots along the East and West sides of campus.
But wait, there’s more! The market’s purpose goes beyond being a shopping destination. All proceeds benefit student scholarships and activities, making it one of the biggest contributors of funds for students at the college. In fact, prior to the pandemic, the market was generating over $150,000 a year for scholarships and student activities.
So when you shop at the PCC Flea Market, not only do you get to score unusual finds and treasures, but you’re also supporting PCC’s student scholarships and activities.
Founder Tom Selinske said, “The great thing about this market is that the purpose has always been to support student scholarships and student activities.” With the market now entirely on the west side of the PCC campus on Hill Street, between Colorado and Del Mar Boulevard, and featuring 450 vendors, there’s no better time to come down and see for yourself.
Whether you’re a buyer or a vendor, the PCC Flea Market is a great way to spend the day and recreate while doing good for the community. For more information, email fleamarket@pasadena.edu, call (626) 585-7906 or visit www.pasadena.edu/community/flea-market.
