Discuss STEM Without Boundaries

Published on Dec 1, 2020

On Wednesday, December 2, the STEM organization is hosting a virtual STEM night with numerous organizations attending, including Caltech’s Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach; USC’s Health Sciences Education Program, the Caltech Latino Association of Students in Engineering and Sciences, and The Science Initiative at UC San Diego.

This free “STEM Without Boundaries: LA County Virtual Stem Night” is from 5 to 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the LA County Office of Education.

A STEM Night – similar to an Open House – is an event where students can come and learn all about different STEM fields and careers, participate in interactive activities and experiments, and watch live demos. STEM Night will feature interactive, simple, at-home science experiments, guided by experienced science leaders that are live on Zoom.

There are no costs for attending the event, and all students from K to 6th grade are welcome. Make sure you sign up as there will be a maximum number of participants allowed.
