Is your kitchen missing a cutting board or butcher block?
It’s good to know that with the right materials and some basic woodworking skills anyone can make one of either item for themselves.
This is what Pasadena Heritage and Pasadena Lumber and Supplies Inc. are offering from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays starting April 3 through a DIY Cutting Board + Butcherblock Workshop, a socially distanced and sanitized set-up at the shop at 1464 Lincoln Ave.,
Sanitation stations will be set up on-site and participants, limited to only eight per class, will be advised to wear a mask at all times.
“If you are an avid home chef or looking to learn some basic woodworking skills, this workshop is perfect for you,” Pasadena Heritage said.
