Dr. Clarissa Castillo-Ramsey

Psychologist, artist, and author Dr. Clarissa Castillo-Ramsey, who owns ClarissaStudio, which offers life coaching services in Pasadena and Los Angeles, will share her own story and why she wrote the book, “Painting Your Path,” on Author Talk, a virtual discussion event sponsored by Pasadena Village on Tuesday, May 3, starting at 11:30 a.m.

“Have you asked yourself, is this it? Have I done everything that I want to do in life? Am I living life on my terms, doing what brings me joy? I’m of a certain age; is it too late to try something new?”

These are the questions that the book seeks to answer, and Dr. Castillo-Ramsey shares how she talked with 21 inspiring women over age 40 from different walks of life who answered these questions.

“Painting Your Path” shares the diverse stories of personal struggle of these women, their life and career pivots, and more. In this presentation, Castillo-Ramsey will delve into her own story, and what she hopes others will gain from reading it.

The presentation is moderated by Pasadena Village’s Cultural Activities Committee.

Castillo-Ramsey has a PsyD degree in Organizational Development from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), where she also obtained her MA in Organizational Behavior. She obtained a BS in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Boston College.

The virtual event on Tuesday is free to attend. To register, call the Pasadena Village office at (626) 765-6037. Instructions on how to access the online event will be sent to your email.
