Earthquake, the veteran stand-up comic born Nathaniel Stroman, will headline a 9:30 p.m. show Friday, Dec. 12, at The Ice House Legendary Room in Pasadena. A fixture in comedy for nearly 30 years, he has built a devoted following through sold-out club dates, television appearances and his SiriusXM show “Quakeshouse.”

His recent run includes the Netflix specials “Chappelle’s Home Team — Earthquake: Legendary” and “Earthquake: Joke Telling Business,” along with a Fox sitcom project titled “Earthquake,” produced by Bill Burr’s North Hill Productions. Onstage, he is known for an unplanned, free-flowing style and a catchphrase that doubles as a warning: “These ain’t jokes!”

The Ice House, founded in 1960 and widely regarded as the oldest comedy club in the United States, reopened in 2023 after a major renovation under owner Johnny Buss, a part-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Legendary Room seats 141 people, with a two-item minimum and base ticket prices that start at $29 and $34 before fees.

Earthquake will run on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at 9:30 p.m. at The Ice House Legendary Room, 24 N. Mentor Ave., Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 414-2386 or visit https://www.showclix.com/event/ice-house-earthquake-12-12-25-930pm. Ticket prices: $30.50 – $35.50
