Eat, Drink, and Be Socially Distanced: It’s Dine LA Restaurant ‘Week’

More than a dozen local eateries offering lunch and dinner specials through September 18
Published on Sep 7, 2020

Since this whole pandemic business began in March, restaurants in Pasadena and elsewhere have been riding a roller coaster of regulations and restrictions, with many falling victim to the slowed-down economy, as others somehow thrive.

But Southern California’s semi-annual premier restaurant event, dine L.A. Restaurant Week, hasn’t gone away, and even in the midst of the pandemic, still showcases Los Angeles (and Pasadena) as a premier dining destination, while highlighting the range and diversity of culinary experiences L.A. has to offer.

Diners can take advantage of special lunch and dinner menus at nearly 300 restaurants, and during the Summer 2020 event, in addition to on-site dining, there are new menu options for take-out and delivery.

Here’s the thing: there are no tickets or passes required for dineL.A. Restaurant Week, and it’s not virtual. It’s real. Simply dine out at a participating restaurant, and ask for the dineL.A. Restaurant Week menu.

Participating restaurants offer a special menu* for on-site dining, take-out, and/or delivery for lunch and/or dinner. Lunch specials from $15 to $35, and dinner specials run from $25 to $65.

Make it a special occasion. Try a new dish or enjoy an old favorite. But here’s the thing: advance reservations and ordering are strongly recommended, because COVID.

DineL.A. Restaurant Week runs through Friday, September 18, 2020, including weekends. For menu availability, please refer to the hours listed on the dineL.A. Restaurant Week menus.

As one can surely imagine, prices and meal periods vary by restaurant and exclude beverages, tax, and gratuity. Please contact the restaurant directly before making your reservations or ordering to ensure the restaurant will be serving their dineL.A. Restaurant Week menu. Menus may also be subject to change due to the seasonal availability of ingredients.

We recommend making a reservation on the dineL.A. website,  or calling the restaurant directly.

One more time: Advance reservations and ordering are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome, but there is no guarantee that walk-in guests will be accommodated.

There are a score of restaurants in Pasadena participating. Start here:
