Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena is offering families a chance to celebrate Mother’s Day in quiet contemplation and introspection on Sunday, May 9, when the garden offers visitors respite from the hectic world out there, and when you will find the serenity that has characterized Japanese gardens for centuries.
Families can choose from any of three sessions available throughout the day – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 to 4 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m. – to spend some quiet time inside the Garden for Mom. There are no events planned on Sunday, so it’s the best time to enjoy a peaceful and safe visit.
The Garden has guidelines corresponding to Health Department protocols for outdoor museums and botanical gardens, and further updates will be posted on the Garden’s website when available from the State and the City of Pasadena Health Department.
Registration is required and no walk-ins will be entertained. Picnics are allowed although with restrictions.
