626 Night Market, the iconic local festival inspired by the famous open-air nighttime bazaars of Asia, will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight from Friday to Sunday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia.
Now in its ninth season, the flagship 626 Night Market offers up over 250 food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions in an epic event that’s open for all ages.
This year, the organizers decided on the theme “Coming Home” to commemorate the reopening where friends and family can come together again after COVID-19 put a hold on the event in 2020. 626 Night Market expects to see up to 100,000 attendees during the three-day weekend.
In keeping with LA County Health Department mandates, masks are required for all attendees ages 2 and older, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine.
One of the main features of 626 Night Market is that it aims to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent including performers, chefs, and entrepreneurs, the organizers said.
Following the flagship event in Arcadia in 2012, two additional events have been added to meet popular demand: the OC Night Market at the Orange County Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa in 2014, and the Northern California Night Market at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton in 2018.
Early last year, all these events were renamed 626 Night Market, after the 626 area code region of Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley.
