Flintridge Sacred Heart will host the 49th Annual Harry G. Johansing Golf Tournament Monday at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. Shotgun Start at 11:00 a.m. In 1974, Harry Johansing organized a golf tournament to support Flintridge Sacred Heart and raise funds. The results were modest- about $7,500 - but the tournament continued on. Now, the Harry G. Johansing Scholarship Fund is the largest endowed scholarship at FSHA, entirely funded by this tournament. To date, the Fund amounts to $2.3 million, and this year, ten highly qualified young women are receiving scholarships ranging from $5,000 - $10,000. Every single young woman who receives tuition assistance contributes to the vibrancy of the Flintridge Sacred Heart student body. FSHA ask you to help them continue to maintain its diverse socio-economic community by contributing to the Johansing Endowed Scholarship Fund for our deserving young women. Guests of the tournament will be treated to the popular "Bet on the Sisters" competition, with some of their favorite Dominican Sisters competing against each other in a putting challenge - a unique FSHA tradition!
