48StateTour will be coming to Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery in Altadena for the first time in Southern California. This is a free gravestone preservation workshop that is being held by Jonathan Appell, who founded Atlas Preservation, and has over 25 years of experience preserving, restoring, and repairing gravestones and monuments. Every workshop will be unique and have somewhat different content dependent upon the varying preservation needs! Since these events are site specific, 48StateTour will discuss topics relating to the region where each event is held. They will make a concerted effort to perform as many different types of repairs as possible that represent the most common problems associated with gravestone preservation. 2024 Tour Dates & Locations are live! Check the calendar + map on the homepage and the full schedule here to find an event near you. Please visit your state of interest to learn more about an upcoming workshop location, history and contact information. All 48 State Tour events are free and open to the public!  Click here to view flyer.
