As part of Pasadena City College's Native American Month celebration, PCC presents Creative Resistance: The Decoloniality of Dance for Personal Liberation. This special event honors the life and legacy of the late Dr. Roberto "Cintli" Rodriguez, who introduced his students and community to Ceremonial Discourse - a powerful practice that holistically integrates mind, body, spirit, and emotions through an embodiment of resistance that is creative, life-giving, and liberating. PCC alumna and doctoral candidate Alicia Moseley will share her Andean cosmovision, weaving a narrative that reflects her personal and professional journey with Creative Resistance, while inviting the audience to explore this path of self-liberation.
